Cynar is an artichoke-based bitter. Its distinctive flavour is enriched from an infusion of 13 herbs and plants, making it a completely natural drink, rich in scents and a unique taste. It perfectly conserves all the health properties of the ingredients used in its preparation. Only moderately alcoholic (16.5%) Cynar is a modern and versatile drink that is always welcome. Cynar was launched on the market in 1952, and its history is closely tied to its successful television advertisements interpreted in the 1960s by Ernesto Calindri. 

This is a rich, sweet, treacly dessert wine made from PX, which stands for Pedro Ximenez, one of the three classic grape varieties used to make sherry. 

PX is a white grape variety which is typically used to make sweet sherries (although it also makes dry wines in Montilla-Moriles DO, which borders the sherry region). The PX grape is used harvested late then dried in the sun to encourage a shrivelled character, which in turn concentrates the sugars in the grape. This helps to produce intensely richly flavoured wines, which are fermented to a low level of alcohol (usually between 5 to 7% ABV) then fortified and aged in seasoned sherry barrels to mature the wines and add complexity in taste.

The value for money in this wine (and in most PXs) is exceptionally good, due to great concentration of flavour, richness and complexity.

Drink lightly chilled with sticky toffee pudding or warm gingerbread - a match made you know where. 

Tio Pepe is one of the great dry white wines of the world and is a fortified sherry from Gonzales Byass; the largest producers of this classic Spanish fortified wine style. 

This wine gains its bone dry flavours and green olive like astringent appeal from being aged under flor yeast, a foamy looking white film, which develops during the ageing process, which takes four years. This flor ageing process imparts the distinctive nutty and bread-like aromas to the sherry. There are hints of green apple and raisins on the palate. 

This wine tastes outstanding served lightly chilled with salty tapas and smoked slivers of serano ham and other smoked meats.

Aperol is the perfect aperitif. Bright orange in colour it has aunique bitter-sweet taste deriving from a secret recipe thathas remained unchanged since its creation. Aninfusion of precious primary components, many herbs and roots in aperfectly balanced combination. 

Aperol's strength is its low alcohol content, only 11%.

This is a great example of Chardonnay without the influence of oak. It remains smooth and full bodied with balance from crisp, fresh, food friendly acidity adding great depth and appeal to the refreshing flavours of green apple note on the nose and palate.

The grapes for this generous wine were exclusively sourced from the stony soils of our prestigious Gimblett Gravels vineyard in Hawkes Bay, on low yielding vines. A rich full bodied wine, this traditional blend exudes intense blackcurrant, blackberry and plum flavours, layered with caramel and spicy cedary oak.  Ageing in quality oak has conferred a velvety smooth texture.

Commissioned by the adventuring brewer John Martin in 1944, Guinness Special Export stout packs a punch befitting his Belgian brewery.  8% alcohol creates a strong body.  Rich malty flavors combine with smoky roasted barley.  Licorice and butterscotch play supporting roles, along with molasses, hints of vanilla and dark fruit accents.  An Irish stout with a continental edge

A velvet, creamy stout packing notes of chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Brewed with lactose and a robust malt blend, this milk stout offers a satisfying sweetness that cuts against a light bitterness, brought together through an irresistible velvet texture.

4.4% ABV.

Martinborough is home to the grapes that go into this dry, fruity and super approachable Sauvignon Blanc with its luscious drink me now style. It's great value for money and super tasty from one of the country's smallest wine regions. We love it.

Merlot is the most planted red grape in Hawke's Bay and it's blended here with 15% Cabernet Franc, which adds the deep crimson colour and impressive backbone and structure to this wine. Fermentation was all in stainless steel tanks to retain fruit forward approachability with maturation for 17 months in French oak barriques, which adds smoothness and a velvety texture to this wine. It's dry and tastes of ripe dark fruit.

Timmermans P?che is made by adding 100% natural peach flavouring to lambic fermenting in oak barrels. This beer?s characteristic aroma is very pleasant on the nose, and it has a velvety flavour and a creamy foam. Timmermans P?che is a fruity drink, very easy on the palate, to be drunk with a smile on one?s lips.

Taste-wise ?

A powerful fruit aroma immediately followed by the flavour of the peach. A mature beer which shows clear evidence of its maceration with the fruit. A sweet and fruity flavour with just a hint of bitterness from the peach kernel and skin.

Koakoa - This Limoncello is koakoas signature offering.  We select the best quality New Zealand fruit and handcraft a liqueur which is described as bright, zesty citrus with a hint of sherbet lemons and bonbons.  It has a soft, creamy lemon start with a flash of citrus blossom and lemon meringue pie.
