Dry red wine from the Graves AOC. This is a rich, ripe wine with dark plum, spice and woody notes on the nose. The palate is very concentrated and is defined by its ripe red fruits and smoky intensity.

This English ale was born mature. Because even when it was new, it was Old 95. Full-bodied, with delicious toffee malt sweetness, and a lingering balanced bitterness, it's a recipe that gives new beers a run for their money.

So, sit down in your favourite old chair, put on your favourite old slippers, and pour your favourite Old 95.

Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger runs this famous champagne house with his son Clovis and daughter, Vitalie, who both work beside him in the day to day running of Champagne Taittinger. It is one of the grand marques champagnes. This means it is one of the top tier, best known and most highly respected producers in the Champagne region and it has built its reputation on Chardonnay dominant bubblies, with the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blanc being the pinnacle of its production.

This non vintage (NV) champagne is also Chardonnay dominant, which is where its bright, clean, fresh and refreshing acidity and creamy notes come from. 

It is a beautiful and classic champagne. One of our favourites.

Charles Wiffen Chardonnay is a fruity, medium bodied dry white offering flavours of lemon, grapefruit and white peach, given depth by creamy richness and balanced acidity.

It's a top buy at this price and a super tasty wine for everyday enjoyment. 

This is a lot of fun; a sparkling, savoury Italian wine has a pale pink colour savoury and was made using the method? ancestral winemaking technique. This means it was fermented in the bottle where the CO2 dissolved into the wine to make it sparkling. It was not disgorged after fermentation so it retains lees (yeast cells) and therefore a light hazyness. 

Dry, refreshing, lively bubbly. Drink lightly chilled. We think this is great fun and great value.

Our best value pink bubbly and made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Northern Wairarapa at Matahiwi Estate vineyards. Free run juice was used to make this dry, flavoursome sparkling wine; tank fermentation provides depth of bubbles and a yeasty freshness, which adds complex flavours.
