It?s also delicious, combining plump, sun-ripened Canterbury barley with Southern Cross, Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka hops from Upper Moutere to create a clean, beautifully balanced aromatic beer. Pilsner Urquell?s signature flavour balances sweetness from the triple-decocted malt, and bitterness from our Saaz hops. The thick head of dense wet foam adds smoothness and seals in flavour and aroma.

In every sip of Pilsner Urquell you?ll notice a refreshing crispness from natural carbonation, then subtle caramel tones and a clean finish with a pleasing hoppy bitterness

4.4% ABV

If the sky is clear and cool, and you?re very lucky, you might witness a sundog: apparitions that accompany the true sun, an atmospheric trick of light and ice. Our own Sundog, a pilsner starring the vivid passionfruit and white wine notes of New Zealand hops, is much easier to find, but just as crisp and bright.

Sake bomb, Sake bomb, sake bomb...hey. Following our well received collab with ZenKuro sake brewery in 2019 we have teamed up again, this time with a different approach. Sake bomb beer in one neat package...Not quite - but we have brewed a beautiful golden pilsner with locally grown southland hops and then re-fermented it with sake kasu (rice starch by product of sake production). Making a lovely easy going beer that pairs well with Japanese food and contains subtle aromas of rice wine matched with stonefruit. Just remember your chant before drinking!

4.9% ABV.

this is a classic Paderborn Pilsener. 

The strong golden yellow color, combined with a white fine-pored foam crown make you want to taste this typical hearty Westphalian beer. Brewed with a particularly soft brewing water and carefully selected hop varieties, they give an original taste.

4.8% ABV

Northland Chili Pils is flexible. Rain or shine, it's drinkable. Big meaty koura right off the grill or simple mac-n-cheese, it's a go-to.

5.2% ABV.

A hoppier take on a classic style. Luppolo is a crisp, hoppy pilsner. Generously hopped with modern German varieties, Perle, Callista and Saphir to provide a subtle layer of citrus and punchy stone fruit, tempered with pleasant bitterness. Bellissimo!

Double Vision - A traditonal Pilsner malt base and yeast with the dynamic Aotearoa hop duo of Nelson Sauv and Rakau.

Brewed using traditional Czech Pilsner methods.  Fruit and spicy hop characters are dominant, with a wild malt backdrop and a crisp, clean finish.

A lengthened maturation process also adds complexity.

Full-flavoured and completely alcohol-free: naturally brewed following German Beer Purity laws, Bitburger Drive 0,0% Alcohol-free has an unmatched taste. 

The city of Paderborn is located on important pilgrimage routes. Today, pilgrimage and hiking are all the rage. Based on historical recipes, Paderborner's master brewer has brewed a special country beer with selected hops and exquisite malts. Rich with a mild flavour of fruit plus a touch of vanilla cream to finish. Biscuit and coffee flavours in a soft, silky beer with a delicate malt. Naturally cloudy, finely mild and tasty.

Preservative free thanks to Paderborner being Brewed in accordance to the German Purity Law of 1516.

When is NZ Pilsner actually a Pilsner? When it?s Sea Spray Dry-hopped Pilsner! Brewed like a proper pilsner but macrodosed (in whirlpool and dry-hopping) with Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin. This makes for a lean, crisp, lager base with big, green, dank oily notes backed with delicate passionfruit for a clean, dry smashable beer with enough bitterness to keep you coming back for more.

5.3% ABV.

Jeremiah was a bullfrog. Was a good friend of mine. I never understood a single word he said. But I helped him a-drink his pint. A classic NZ-hopped imperial pilsner with an aromatic dry hop from heavyweights Riwaka & Motueka, and a touch of Nelson Sauvin, Jeremiah brings a refreshing balance of citrus lime & subtle passionfruit notes.

Juicy, tangy and dripping with a red-candy sweetness from the Ruby Red Kiwifruit, this beer hits like sticky lollipops and ice-cold fruit slushies on a hot summer?s day. Ruby Red Kiwifruit is known for its delicate berry and tropical flavours on top of the familiar lip-smacking tart bite, which pairs perfectly with this crisp, refreshing sour ale.
