Born from the pioneering spirit of Paul Theakston who, in 1992, followed his heart and dared to start a new brewery. Brewed in Masham, North Yorkshire, this beer is the culmination of six generations of family brewing expertise. Crisp, dry and bittersweet.

Blackshore is a smooth, easy-drinking stout, named after the black-tarred fishing huts that line Southwold's harbour. They are individual, characterful and made of sturdy stuff. It is brewed with a hefty mash bill for a rich, broad malt character. You’ll find Pale Ale, Brown, Double Roasted Crystal, and Chocolate malts, alongside Roasted Barley and a hearty helping of oats. This adds a real depth of flavour, that the brewing team are particularly proud of, making it tremendously tasty, but mellow on the finish.

Tally-Ho is a limited edition barley wine that has been brewed at Adnams since 1880. Brewed with a much as Cornish-grown barley we can get our hands on, korev (4.8% abv) is a Helles style lager with a wonderful pale colour and a clean, crisp taste.

TRIPLE XB (XXXB)

Our much loved XXXB is what you’d call an English tawny beer. Just like the first batch we crafted in 1978, it’s brewed with four malts and three varieties of hops, for a deliciously spicy, fruity and biscuity flavour.

7.2% alcohol, dry as a bone and jammed full of Cornish barley and as many Citra and Centennial hops as we could get our hands-on.

Quiet Storm, Sabro 5.5% Single Hop Pale Ale

Quiet Storm is a unique series of single hop showcases. Using some of our favourite hop varieties, the ambition of this project is to really highlight the full spectrum and capability of each individual variety, through precise application at different stages of brewing.

 Sabro is a relatively new hop and is absolutely bursting with flavour. Fresh from the US, look out for bags of stone fruit, kiwi and tangerine before the tropical onslaught of coconut which Sabro has become famous for!
