The Reserve Chardonnay from Bogle is the biggest, creamiest Chardonnay we have from this producer in store at Regional and it's made from ripe grapes, which have spent significant time in new American oak barrels to gain creamy richness as well as spicy, cedar notes to add depth.

Bogle is best best known for its big, buttery, Californian Chardonnays so here is the red wine to match - a plush, soft, spicy and dark fruit tasting red made from the ZInfandel grape.

This grape is also known as Primitivo in Puglia, Southern Italy, and shares the same instant likeability of a big soft red for early drinking. It can hold and improve over the short to medium term; up to five years. 

Dark and brooding, Cherrycream Dark is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon with ripe black cherry, raspberry and mocha aromas. This wine is full bodied yet smooth, imparting lengthy vanilla notes with a hint of black liquorice on the finish. It has fruit and  body - and dazzles the senses with its scrumptious bouquet. Primarily made from Cabernet Sauvignon with just a little bit of of Merlot to subdue any harsh Cabernet tannins and envelope them with bright fruit flavours.

Clay Creek Vineyards is part of a family owned winery which has been growing grapes since 1924. Sustainable farming practices are central to the family's firmly held belief that they are responsible for tending the earth using environmentally sensitive farming techniques.

The vineyards are predominantly located in the Lodi region of California wine country. Positioned between San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada mountain range, the Lodi appellation, while relatively far inland, is able to maintain a classic Mediterranean climate featuring warm, sunny days and cool evenings.

The mysterious origins of the Zinfandel grape were uncovered in 2002 when DNA fingerprinting confirmed that Italy?s Primitivo and the slightly trickier to pronounce, Crljenak Kastelanski, an ancient Croatian variety, are genetically identical to Zinfandel. One grape, three different names and countries. And innumerable styles of different wines made from it - variety is the spice of life and of the wine lover's choice.

This Chardonnay is sourced from Californian coastal vineyards. Fermentation and ageing is completed in French and American oak barrels, lending richness and toastiness. Lees ageing adds richness, creaminess and complexity.

?Beautifully integrated tropical flavors such as pineapple, mango and papaya, with citrus notes that explode in your mouth. These flavors delicately intertwine with aromas of vanilla and honey to create depth and balance throughout. Light oak aging and fresh, balanced acidity make this chardonnay a must- have. The bouquet is soft with ripe honeydew, rich vanilla and hints of apple skin. The oak aging adds a nice complexity to the mouthfeel, layering zesty spice tones on top of crisp pear and guava flavour. On the back end, flavours of lemon peel meld with the creamy vanilla notes to create a refreshing and savoury finish.

Smooth with rustic aromatics and black cherry flavours.

Boasting concentrated flavour while retaining the delicate nature that the varietal is known for, the bouquet opens with deep, rustic notes of cigar box and wild mushroom and develops gentle highlights of cranberry as it sits. On the palate, vivid black cherry notes up front lend a nice acidity and complement warm allspice undertones with mild tannins.

This California grown Rh?ne varietal blend is focused and piquant with a smack of black pepper, lifted by the scent of dried roses. It surges with ripe Rainier cherries, a touch of dark chocolate, and a depth of black tea and liquorice, delivering both power and balance with a seemingly endless finish.

"The 2018 Christo is made up of 60% Syrah, 24% Grenache, 12% Petite Sirah and 4% Viognier. Vibrant ruby-purple in colour, the nose offers pure scents of crushed red, black and blue berries, tobacco, violets, tar and smoked meats.
