For Vintage Ale 2018 we've stayed close to home; all of our ingredients have been sourced from the UK.  Tropical citrus and apricot flavours take center stage, delivered by Ernest and Olicana hops.  Pale ale malt from the finest Maris Otter barley combines with Crystal malt to give the beer a rich biscuit sweetness.  As with every Vintage Ale, the flavours of this beer will develop for many years to come, like a fine wine or whisky.

Pencarrow is the introductory brand of Palliser Estate Winery, one of the biggest producers in Martinborough; the heart of one of the smallest wine regions in the country - the Wairarapa.

This Pinot Gris is popular for its freshness, light body and off dry style. It tastes lively, refreshing and soft. 

Hastings Distillers was formed in 2019 by Kate Galloway and David Ramonteu, an inspiring couple with a background in winemaking and an artistic philosophy of production. Their award winning spirits are inspired as much by artists such as Tolstoy, Steiner and Tuwhare as by their scientific backgrounds in winemaking. The pair created the wine brands Alluviale and DaDa in a prior lifetime, before travelling through Europe and decided to marry distillation with therapeutic herbs. Packaging

The transparent seal on their bottles is made from environmentally friendly, compostable cellulose. The bottles themselves and label paper are made by long established European manufacturers under EU environmental regulations.

Tasting note: A bitter-sweet infusion of New Zealand grown Seville oranges, selected roots and flowers. Batch in fused and cut to strength with Kaweka spring water. Vibrant notes of fresh orange, tangerine and red apple combine with the bitterness of liquorice, wormwood and gentian. Natural colour from orange peel and hibiscus flowers.

Serving note: Serve long with sparkling water for a refreshing bitter-sweet drink. Perfect for Negroni, Americano and any cocktail requiring a bittersweet orange liqueur.

Our Hippy Berliner was such a success that we ebbed to consumer demand and brewed a special edition with the addition of cooling cucumber. Bursting with sweet cucumber notes, balanced by lemon peel and tropical fruits. 

On the palate this beer is puckering, but very refreshing, full of cucumber, citrus and balanced by light hopping, finishing very clean. 

Cool as a cucumber, dude.

Peter Bartle has made Pinot Noir in Central Otago for the past couple of decades, so he's a bit of a dab hand at red wine from the world's southernmost wine region. 

The Providore First Edition is made with grapes grown in Queensberry, mid way between Cromwell and Wanaka. It's from a very warm vintage so was released with a minimum time in oak as a velvet smooth, silky little drink me now style of Pinot Noir. It's proven extremely popular at Regional, so we're constantly topping up the shelves and one sip will show you why.

Fromm Winery produces low alcohol wines similar to German Rieslings from the Mosel/Saar/Ruwer region. These sweet wines have an amazing balance between acid and sugar. While they have high residual sugar, they never seem cloyingly sweet, and have alcohols as low as 7-8%.

This German style Marlborough Riesling offers bright green apple, citrus and mineral notes. The texture is oily and rich, with juicy, bright acidity bringing balance.

Our straw-coloured pilsner is crystal-clear and perfectly hopped, boasting a light taste and a lasting foam head with extra-fine bubbles. This all combines for a moment of pure pilsner enjoyment. 4.8% ABV.

Beautiful fruit forward Pinot Noir with layers of savoury flavours and complexity. This wine is made with grapes from Maude's Sitting Bull and Queensberry vineyards in Central Otago. Layers of dark berry fruits and hints of violet, clove and cinnamon can be found on the nose, whilst on the palate, the generous mouthfeel exhibits great depth and breadth of flavour.

Outstanding new wave Albariño from the certified organic Headwaters Vineyard in Marlborough and the wine was made from grapes fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to retain aromatic purity and freshness.

This wine is medium bodied, succulent and off dry with floral aromas, notes of lime and white stonefruit. A lush mid-palate moves to spicy and lingering, mineral finish.

Billecart-Salmon is a rare Champagne houses in that it is still owned by the original family who established it in 1818. Its founder was Nicolas-Fran?ois Billecart and most of the grapes in today's Billecart-Salmon champagnes still come from a small family owned vineyard, with the balance bought in from the Marne Valley and Montagne de Reims. 

This champagne house cultures its own yeasts, treating its base wines to long, slow, cool fermentations and the rose is a traditional champagne style - which means a small portion of still red wine (Pinot Noir) was blended into this wine to add body, texture, richness and weight.

This is a superb, mouth watering champagne from a great producer.

A trappist triple. Full of muscat like fruit, bitter hops and pale candy sugar character. Bottle Conditioned.

Dry red wine from the Graves AOC. This is a rich, ripe wine with dark plum, spice and woody notes on the nose. The palate is very concentrated and is defined by its ripe red fruits and smoky intensity.

This English ale was born mature. Because even when it was new, it was Old 95. Full-bodied, with delicious toffee malt sweetness, and a lingering balanced bitterness, it's a recipe that gives new beers a run for their money.

So, sit down in your favourite old chair, put on your favourite old slippers, and pour your favourite Old 95.
