Flavours: The same delicious cola nostalgia as Colar Beer, but dosed with just the right amount of lactose and vanilla. It's like a canned Ice Cream float!

We love sour beers, and with sunny drinking weather on the way we figured we’d take a crack at an Imperial this time around.  The idea coming from a beloved English pudding – Eton Mess. We have thrown in every berry we could get our hands on and topped it all off with lashings of vanilla and milk sugar.  Our new favourite dessert.

7.2% - Raspberry & Plum Sour 

Sometimes life gives you another bite of the cherry. If you're really lucky though, you can have a second bite at all sorts of fruit. Two Bites, oak barrel aged beer, fermented with our own house culture and then ‘double dipped’ with second use raspberries and organic heritage plums for a deep, soft fruit flavour. Go on, have another bite.

4.2% - Watermelon & Dragonfruit Gose

Get your tastebuds on the dance floor. Discothèque Pastèque - Watermelon Gose, a delightfully light refreshing sour infused with fresh ripe watermelons, dragonfruit, a touch of coriander and a pinch of salt. It’s a mirror ball explosion of outrageous aromatic fresh juicy fruit and funk. Can you dig it?

Inspired by dry rosé this is a beer that tastes like wine!
A very light malt base keeps malt flavours and colour to a minumum. Kettle souring overnight gives a wine-like tart acidity and a dry hop of German Hallertau Blanc hops gives grape flavours. Strawberry puree was added to give fruity complexity (and colour!) and a long cooler ferment and lagering process gives a clean crisp finish reminiscent of the dry minerally finish found in dry rosé wine.

Goses are soured salty wheat ales with lemon, lime, coriander and such, not usually dry hopped. But then the Bract project chose us for an exclusive experiment with one of their new varieties. Enjoy the citrus and tropical fruit delights of NZH-106.

Irasshaimase! A big warm welcome to our newest summer release. A crisp, refreshing and smashable yuzu sorbet sour, topped off with a dusting of seaweed salt for that subtle umami kick. Beat the heat, kick back and enjoy.

Beyond the Pale, a Garage tradition celebrating New Zealand’s own fantastic Fringe Festival with a very special avant garde offering. This year we bring you Lavender Scare, a beguiling blend of lavender flowers, citrus and monk fruit (AKA swingle fruit), which create a disarmingly delicious ‘lavender lemonade’ sour with a whimsical purple blush and just a hint of your Nan’s potpourri. Introducing Rodenbach Evolved Saint Georges, a truly unique beer experience! This Sour Pale Ale boasts a 6.7% ABV and draws inspiration from the beloved “Gueuze Saint Georges” Rodenbach beer, cherished until the late 1970s. Our team at Rodenbach came together to revive the essence of this iconic brew in our exclusive Rodenbach Evolved series. Crafting it involved blending traditional ingredients from wheat beer, saison, and lambic, resulting in a refreshing and fruity sour pale ale. We fermented this beer using our own special Rodenbach yeast culture, which gives a distinctive flavor profile. Following fermentation, we allowed it to mature for 2 years in the carefully selected wooden barrel known as foeder “93.”

Rodenbach Vintage is a unique, unblended Flanders Red-Brown ale beer that is matured in oak casks for 2 years. Only the best casks are used, after which I subject the beer to a strict sampling selection. Rodenbach Vintage has a uniquely balanced acidic taste and a long, fresh and fruity aftertaste.
