We're back with East Coast brewing legends Trillium for an all new collaborative celebration of hop growing terroir. This time we travel to Oregon's majestic Willamette Valley with hand selected hops from Coleman's Alluvial Farm. A hop free boil and massive dry hop addition of Strata, Luminosa and Audacia create a lusciously juicy hazy homage to the unique character of America's North West.
It's a tricky business, getting into drinking competitions with giants. Expect the unexpected. Thor's Cup, inspired by the traditional farmhouse ale that has been made in Norway for centuries, using Kveik yeast (pronounced kwike in English). Brewed using fresh juniper branches in the mash and a touch of beech smoked malt, this beer's unique flavour comes from two mixed Kveik cultures collected from traditional brewers in Voss and Hornindal, and brought back to New Zealand. Dark malts vie with tart yeast driven complexity and subtle hints of smoke and resin in a beer that can truly claim to be unique. Drink deep from the cup, but keep your wits about you.

A blend of carefully selected puncheons of our spontaneously fermented coolship ale, conditioned on ripe Ruby Red Kiwifruit, sourced directly from Glenview Orchard, Ng?hinap?uri. The result is a luscious vibrant candy pink beer with a delightful zesty aroma and sweet tart palate.
You can have too much of a good thing. London, October 17, 1814, one of the Horse Shoe Brewery?s massive beer vats collapses releasing over half a million litres of porter, demolishing nearby buildings and killing eight people - their causes of death variously described as drowning or drunkenness. The Great Deluge, brewed with barley, oats, roasted wheat and East Kent Goldings, then aged in oak barrels for over a year with brettanomyces and lactobacilli creating a throwback style porter with dark chocolate and coffee notes and a restrained tart twist. Enjoy in moderation.

Wildflower ale, spontaneous fermented using only the wild yeast from freshly foraged m?nuka flowers, aged in oak barrels and then blended with a batch of fresh beer ?hopped? with m?nuka tips. The result is a deliciously drinkable dark ale, with a delicately tart citrus, floral, honey flavour and a light, spicy m?nuka twist. Go wild. Brewed for the Hokitika Wild Foods festival.

Walk with us through the fire. This very special brew takes inspiration from Fix & Fogg?s cult Smoke & Fire peanut butter - then turns up the heat. The result is a decadently rich Imperial Stout brewed with over 50% fresh manuka smoked malt, and a wholly unrestrained addition of fiery habanero chillies and roasted peanuts culminating in a pitch black brew packing an intense hit of heat, smoke and malty, peanut butter sweetness.
