We finished our red-wine-barrel-aged Australian single malt whisky in heavily peated whisky-drenched barrels from Islay, Scotland. And for the first time, you?ll taste coastal, peaty, smoky flavour in our signature fruit-forward whisky.
AROMA / Tropical fruits, toasted oak and a hint of sweet peat.
PALATE / Ripe red berries, coastal peat smoke, yellow peach and cocoa nibs.
FINISH / Oak slowly dries the palate, with a long peated finish.

A nod to the history of Speyside, Benriach Temporis is peated, as they did back in the 1970s. It's been matured in a mix of bourbon barrels, virgin-oak casks, and Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry casks, adding in layers of fruit and spice on top of Benriach's honeyed peat smoke character.

The 49 is a Highland Single-Malt Scotch Whisky - Distilled at Tullibardine Distillery 2012.
This distillery and the Firkin Founder were both founded in ’49. This is a cracker. It’s kind of long but narrow and jam-packed with creamy butterscotch toffee, crisp malt and some fruit oak. It hangs around with a tad of cinnamon and sweet biscuit.

The heavy new-make style of Aultmore lends itself perfectly to Sherry cask maturation and here is whisky from this very distillery, distilled in October 2011 and bottled in August 2021, that spent its entire maturation in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry Butt made from American (not the typical Spanish) Oak.
Colour: Burnished Copper.
Nose: Creamy mocha, barley sugar, dark fruits and butterscotch.
Palate: Condensed milk, fresh roasted Arabica coffee beans, California raisins and peanut brittle.
Finish: Mouth-filling and sweet with a creaminess that lingers long.

Unit price perGlenglassaugh Distillery produces a medium bodied spirit with a heather-honey sweet style and this particular whisky, was distilled in November 2014 and bottled in August 2021 having spent a lengthy period of ?finishing? in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry Quarter Cask.
Colour: Tawny Brown.
Nose: Strawberry fondant, peppery warmth and dark toffee.
Palate: Sweet notes of plum jam, dark chocolate and strawberry tart with the warmth of red peppercorns.
Finish: Great structure and length for a relatively youthful whisky. Rich chocolate covered cranberries.

Unit price perFor all the sherry fans out there we have this 1988 Vintage Auchentoshan. We all know that Auchentoshan are masters at fully triple distilling their whisky but they also mastered the art of sherry maturation here with this expression.
This limited edition Auchentoshan was distilled in 1988 and matured in Spanish oak casks and finished in PX sherry casks.
It was bottled some 29 years later in 2019 at 49.7%.
The resulting whisky has picked up the characteristics so well from the casks used and it is full of rich, sweet butterscotch and caramel flavours.

The flavour imparted by the smoke is a reflection of Wolfburn?s history ? the original 19th Century distillery was largely fired by peat. The result is a beautifully smooth and rounded whisky.

The mid-palate is a real sweet treat (strawberry cream cake). The silky finish wavers between aromatic plants and autumn shades (chestnut). The retronasal olfaction is mentholated .
