Bootleg Brewing - Caesar said he wanted a tropical Indian Pale Ale to keep him happy and get the monkey off our back, we jammed this beer full of our favourite USA and Kiwi hops.  It bloody worked!

6.3% ABV.

A crisp, bright Saison with a sunny disposition. Brewed with pilsner and rye malts and lightly spiced with White Pepper, Coriander and Meyer Lemon to bring a touch of sunshine, wherever you are.

Spiced Saison - 6.5%

The ultimate expression of Wild Workshop's inner city terroir. 

An artful blend of three years' worth of 100% spontaneously fermented beer, brewed with New Zealand grown pilsner malt, raw wheat and hops, using traditional mashing techniques, an open coolship and extended ageing in oak. 

Complex and beautifully balanced, with tart fruit notes and a superbly dry finish - this beer is the result of three years' hard work, and a little chance, luck and magic.

8.2% ABV. - Spontaneous 3-year blend

Hazy IPA with Makrut Lime and Lemongrass

A hazy riff on on our classic Venusian inspired pale ale, this Phoenix Foundation collab is packed with Amarillo, Citra and Centennial hops and infused with Lemongrass and Makrut Lime Leaf. Exotic tropical fruit flavours for a true celebration of Friend Ship.

5.6% ABV.

On a good day in Wellington you can find us in Newtown, rolling around Riddiford St in pursuit of rad times. This beer has a full, tropical palate with fresh fruit aromas and a crisp juiciness that will keep you refreshed from the bar to the house party.

4.8% ABV.

YELLOWHAMMER

Bright and lively like a parrot, but small and ubiquitous like a sparrow, the Yellowhammer adds a flash of colour and a musical chirp to open spaces all over the country. The way it does a lot with just a little inspires our smooth and refreshing hazy pale ale, streaked with the striking tropical notes of Strata hops.

4.8% ABV.

Night Spirit Imperial Stout is a luscious black ale that has been aged more than 10 months in whisky casks that held very special NZ single malt whisky for more than 20 years. The casks have a great story to tell and amazing flavours to contribute to the beer.

Originally these American oak casks held American bourbon from J. T. S. Brown and Sons (now Heaven Hill) and were coopered in the early 1960?s. The resulting beer is deep, dark, and intense in flavour with notes of oak, roasted barley, black malts, vanilla, and whisky.
There were a very limited number of NZ Whiskey Co. barrels, and we can coax the whiskey character out of a barrel and into a beer only once. After that, the barrel may offer oak flavour, but the whiskey character is essentially lost. Each bottle is hand numbered. The 2017 release is sold out. Annual releases are planned for 2018 ? 2021 and supply is very limited.

Count yourself fortunate if you are lucky enough to get your hands on some of these bottles. It is a unique experience which can?t be repeated and the beer will age gracefully for years. We expect the sweet spot to be around 3-5 years. Do not serve cold! Treat it like a port or red wine and serve it in an elegant glass.

12% ABV.

Like Slacklining styling a sour beer requires superb balance.  Too far in either direction and it's not going to end well.

The tartness of this kettle-soured Gose (that's pronounced "Goes-uh") is balanced by the tropical combo of mango and guava and a dose of sea salt.

Not too sour and not too salty, Slackline Mango and Guava is simply a beautifully refreshing drop!

4.0% ABV.

Imagine a world without flavour. It'd be almost as bad as a world without beer. Well you're in luck. This lager is literally bursting with hop-fuelled taste. It's been created by people inspired and obsessed with keeping the flame alive. Enjoy our handiwork.

A mellow, easy-drinking APA packed full of American hops giving off citrus & tropical fruit flavours.

With predominantly local hops and slightly above-average alcohol content, our Red IPA has the same confidence and individuality that characterise our own former colony. Tantalising passionfruit aromas give way to a delightful and unexpected combination of berries, tart ruby grapefruit and a comforting toasty malt on the palate, rounded off with a satisfying, sustained finish.

6.4% ABV

This restorative, unfiltered, and mildly-hopped ordinary bitter is our take on a classic British pale ale. Built on a foundation of NZ grown ale and specialty malts, this beer is biscuity, malty, and balanced with NZ Goldings used for bittering and dry-hopping

This beer pairs beautifully with a variety of foods as well as being ideal as a pallet clearer at whisky tastings. It is unassuming, yet both refreshing and flavoursome. It is also great on handpull for a classic English-style serving. We?ll leave it to you to decide if it?s best with or without a sparkler for extra creaminess.

Cucumber Dill Pickle Sour

A clean, refreshing sour beer inspired by the burger?s classic companion - the dill pickle. Naturally kettle soured and infused with cucumber, dill, and pickle spice. This quirky refreshing beer would be the perfect playmate for the classic cheese burger, fish burger or any other pickle loving burger offering.

This kettle-soured Boysenberry Gose features boysenberries from Hawke's Bay and pink Himalayan sea salt.

Not too sour and not too salty, it's simply a beautifully refreshing drop.  And did we say pink? Oh yeah, it's definitely pink!
