Irish Whiskey

Bushmills offers an exclusive Caviste Edition with this more intense Black Bush. The most malty blend in the range, the Black Bush has mainly aged in Sherry and Bourbon casks. It combines a large amount of Single Malt whiskey aged in ex-blended Oloroso Sherry casks with batch distilled sweet grain whiskey. This unique recipe gives Black Bush rich, fruity notes and a strong intensity, balanced by a unique sweetness.

The Single Pot Still is crafted using a recipe of 50% Unmalted Spring Barley and 50% Malted Barley. A combination of Virgin Oak, Ex-Wine and Ex-Bourbon Barrels give it a citrusy grapefruit on the nose, with a luscious peach, white pepper and lychee palate.

Created from a blend of triple distilled single malt and grain whiskey, this brand-new Hinch is made with a combination of two American oak casks, the last of which are 'virgin' oak barrels used for the final year of maturation. To taste, notes of citrus and honey are joined by spice and mocha tones.  A fresh melon fruityness comes through on the palate, with a vanilla-forward woody character to finish.

A beautiful pure pot still whiskey (or "single pot still" as it's now officially known). Redbreast 15 is a rich, thick, sweet, pungent whiskey with loads of flavour and complexity - really good stuff! 

A 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. Rather than being simply a finished whiskey, Yellow Spot contains whiskey matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts, and uniquely, Spanish Malaga casks. The influence of the Malaga cask brings an exotic sweet note to the whiskey.

he wonderful Tullamore D.E.W. has gone and finished its original blend of pot still, malt and grain Irish whiskeys in first fill Caribbean rum casks which previously held Demerara rum. As well as being a taste sensation, the expression pays tribute to the role that Irish immigrants played in the development of rum in the Caribbean back in the 17th century. Nose: Cherry pie, lots of tropical mango and banana alongside buttery caramel, with sweet malt and rum spice.

Palate: Lemon curd, caramelised pineapple and brown sugar, with oak spice and lots of dried fruit.

Finish: Chewy orange sweeties, ripe banana drizzled with runny caramel, with a prickle of aromatic spice appearing on the finish.

A smooth and balanced spirit - a fine blend of golden grain and full flavoured malted barley.  Triple-distilled and aged a minimum of three years in bourbon barrels.  Proper No. Twelve offers hints of vanilla, honey-like sweetness and toasted wood.  A proper salute to all.

Bushmills 14yo is triple-distilled and undergoes a special maturation process. The single malt whiskey is first matured in first and second fill bourbon barrels and then refined for 12 months in rare Malaga wine barrels. The finish gives the whiskey its ruby red colour and flavours of exotic summer fruits, which are combined with warm and spicy wood notes.

Nose A meeting of oloroso and crisp pot still character. Malty, too. Lovely fruitcake richness, though not as sweet as in recent years. Palate Very firm, oily, intense and mouthfilling. Finish A hint of spice counters an increasing oaky bitterness though the barley and sherry last to the very end. Soucre Jim Murray

Nose: Very lightly scented with nutty ice cream and sherry.

Palate: Rich dried fruit and chewy toffee, quite a mouth-filling shock after the very delicate nose.

Finish: Fudgy.

40% ABV.

Jameson Irish whiskey finished in  IPA seasoned oak barrels.
