Simply Pure Ltd - Blue Duck Rare Vodka is inspired by the extremely are an endangered blue duck ( Hymenolaimus malacorphnchos ).  It is unique to New Zealand, and is confined to white-water rivers in the country's remote mountain regions.  

Blue Duck Rare Vodka is handcrafted, batch-distilled in a reflux copper pot still and is blended with the purest water in the world.  Seven distillations refine the vodka to produce a velvety smooth texture and a highly distinctive and incomparable taste.

A percentage of our profits is donated to the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society of New Zealand, an organization dedicated to the preservation of the blue duck for future generations.

Malfy Gin Rosa is distilled by the Vergnano family in Italy. Italian juniper, Sicilian pink grapefruit, rhubarb and five other botanicals are used to create this gin. This is a fresh and juicy gin, excellent for summery drinks.

About this mezcal

Alipus San Andres is made with maguey Espadin and Bicuishe. The land around Don Valente?s palenque is a high rolling plateau at about 5000 feet. The soil is mostly shale, which is not typically good for growing vegetation of any kind, but some agave can flourish. Don Valente?s mezcals have unique flavors and aromas, and this mezcal is no different. Newer releases of this will list maguey Bicuishe on the label in addition to maguey Espadin.

In Spring 2019, Alipus also began releasing San Andres mezcal made by Don Atanasio Arag?n Mart?nez.

Alip?s was born in 1999, as a project of the Destiler?a Los Danzantes, with Don Joel Antonio and sons as the first producers, in San Juan del R?o. Subsequently, Don Eduardo Hern?ndez, of Santa Ana del R?o, making Alip?s Santa Ana mezcal; Don Cosme Hernandez and his son Cirilo in San Baltazar Guelavila, who make the Alip?s San Baltazar mezcal; Don Valente Angel and sons, of Santa Mar?a La Pila, with the Alip?s San Andr?s mezcal. In 2013, Alip?s San Luis was incorporated, made by Don Baltazar Cruz and sons, of San Luis del R?o, and Alip?s San Miguel, made by Don Felix Garc?a, Leonardo Rojas, and T?o Jes?s in the Potrero Sola de Vega.

A 100% agave reposado tequila aged for 4-6 months in 190 litre casks previously used to age whiskey at the Early Times Distillery in Kentucky and the Jack Daniel?s Distillery in Tennessee.

Nose: Sea salty, herbal floral nose with hints of vanilla.

Palate: Salty, spicy.

Finish: Vanilla emerges alongside pleasant vegetable notes and gives way to a finish dominated by cracked black pepper.
