Released in 1964 for the first time to supply whisky to the large part of the Japanese population that were looking for whisky as a preferred tipple. Named after the growing Hi-Fi sound movement, rumour has it that the great Masataka Taketsuru had a dram of this almost every day. Bottled at 39% ABV and in a 720ml bottle. A smooth easy drinking whisky and great for a highball cocktail during the warmer months.
Nose: Fruity with orange citrus, subtle oak and honey sweetness.
Palate: Citrus driven with fresh grain and soft peat smoke.
Finish: Sweet fruits and balanced oak.

Unit price perThis limited edition Walkman flask contains Thomson Two Tone blended whisky.
Two Tone refers to the two kinds of cask used for the maturation of this whisky; European oak which formerly held New Zealand red wine and American white oak used exclusively for whisky.
Find sea air and caramelised fruits on the nose, followed by red berries, apricot and spice on the palate. In place of an age statement the infinity symbol marking this bottling is symbolic of the marriage of casks.

Glen Moray Fired Oak was aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks before it was finished in heavily charred American oak to mirror the production of bourbon (by law bourbon must be aged in charred virgin oak).
Nose: Oak char, vanilla sweetness and dark fruits lead among dried grass, toffee and milk chocolate.
Palate: Through banoffee pie, tangy citrus and butterscotch candies there are notes of golden barley, oaky vanilla and freshly picked red berries.
Finish: Well balanced and sweet.
16 year old Tomintoul described as the gentle dram and that it is indeed. The whisky is a testament to the master distiller Robert Fleming, a fourth generation distiller. An excellent, light floral whisky, and at an absolute steal of a price.
A whisky that focuses on the richer side of Benriach's spirit, as well as it's darker smokier side. Aged for 12 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry and marsala casks, the peat smoke is complimented by dried fruit and vanilla from the bourbon and sherry casks, and rich, sweet fruit from the marsala.
Aged for 15 years, this is a delightful expression from Cardhu. Allow this one to come to you, and you'll discover layers of fruity, toffeed magic.
Nose: Oats and apples, malty caramel, plenty of fresh fruit going on. Hints of marzipan and almond pastry, sugared buttermilk pancakes.
Palate: Butterscotch, lychees and lots of banana! Rich tea biscuits dipped in a warm milky tea.
Finish: Super light and creamy, foam bananas, with suggestions of yoghurt and granola. There is an almost rum like quality to this one.
A sumptuous peaty number from Benromach owned by the independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail. This is very bourbon forward with aromas of apricot custard pastries and tobacco smoke leading to billowing peat smoke and toasted coconuts on the palate that has a finish that is long, spicy and fruity.
