Rosé

Our best value pink bubbly and made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Northern Wairarapa at Matahiwi Estate vineyards. Free run juice was used to make this dry, flavoursome sparkling wine; tank fermentation provides depth of bubbles and a yeasty freshness, which adds complex flavours. 

Aside from the bling bottle design, Brilla Prosecco is a lovely, refreshing, light bodie, lightly sparkling Italian bubbly. Its flavours are of floral, lemon, red apples and  a touch of lime. Good quality prosecco with fresh clean flavours and a medium finish. The mini bottle is also convenient to take to parties for a couple of glasses.

What is Prosecco?

Grapes are grown in the Veneto region in north east Italy and the wine is made by the Charmat method, which means secondary fermentation takes place in pressurised stainless steel tanks. Once the secondary fermentation is complete, the wine is filtered and bottled under pressure. The charmat method is also known as tank method, methode cuve close and methode charmat-Martinotti.

Winemaker Paul Pujol is a dab hand at making this pale light bodied red from Pinot Noir. This refreshing lighter take on Pinot Noir has flavours of red berries, spice, excellent freshness and a long finish. 

Limited skin contact, wild yeast fermentation and no secondary fermentation has resulted in an intense, red cherry laced wine with fresh acidity and brightness. 

This is made to be served lightly chilled. 

Les Jamelles Clair de Rose is a blend of two red grape varieties, Grenache and Cinsault. The combination creates a clean, dry and refreshing southern French rose with floral and fruity flavours in a rounded, medium bodied style. Cool temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks retails fruity flavours and is finished in a dry style. 

The grapes in this wine come from two distinctly different areas; the Herault Valley's sloping vineyards where the warm Mediterranean climate provides consistently sunny conditions and outstanding ripeness, along with the Narbonne, where sandier soils provide rich flavours and balance. 

Drink with a classic food match of melon and prosciutto on a sunny day or serve alongside salami and antipasto any time of year as a refreshing aperitif wine.

Pale pink rose from Provence. Aromas of citrus, red fruits and white flowers. Juicy and vibrant with refreshing acidity. This is a delicious, juicy summer wine.

The family owned Beach House Wines turns out an impressive range of wines, including this super refreshing rose, which is made in a dry style with minimal skin contact to provide a pale colour, which is currently the trend in international roses. 

This is a fresh, dry, fruit driven red with a crisp finish. Great for a summer day or a winter's afternoon. 

MiruMiru translates to sparkling in Maori and has been trademarked as the name of Jane Hunter's bubblies. Hunter is a fan of pink bubbly and her winemaking team produce this one mostly from Pinot Noir as 55% of the blend with the balance being 42% Chardonnay with a 3% touch of Pinot Meunier. This trio is the classic combination used in the Champagne region where wines must be aged for at least 18 months prior to release on the market. That?s the exact timeframe that Hunter?s winemaking team decided to age this lively, dry pink bubbles for too. It contains 6.4 grams of residual sugar per litre and is a deliciously full bodied expression of sparkling Pinot with Chardonnay adding crispness and balance.

Hand picked grapes from Karl Johner's estate vineyard in Gladstone make this medium bodied ros? which is full of flavour and juicy fruit appeal. It's so flavoursome that it tastes more like a pale red wine than a typical pink wine. This is mouthwatering with red berries flavours of strawberry and watermelon notes adding freshness. It's nicely balanced by fresh acidity.  

Drink lightly chilled.

Veuve Clicquot is one of the world's biggest selling champagnes and is produced by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey in a range of styles and packaging. 

Veuve is named after the late, great Widow Clicquot, who was left not only a widow aged 27 but also in charge of running a champagne house. Her legacy is to have left both the brand and the region in better condition than she found them, mostly famously by inventing riddling; the turning of the bottle to remove the yeast sediment into its neck, prior to disgorgement. This resulted in higher quality, cleaner, fresher bubbles in both look and taste. Her quest was quality and she is widely credited with having raised it significantly in the Champagne region and in the bottles it produces.
This rose is typically a blend of base wines with 12% of still red Pinot Noir.

Showing a gentle blush of colour, this Rose is both charming and pretty, yet still offers great structure and drive. With initial hints of watermelon and pink rosebud florals the nose then opens to reveal wild strawberries and cream. The palate is crisp and vibrant with delicate red fruits, an elegant dry palate and juicy fruit acidity that leaves the month revived and thirsty for more. Certified organic. - Fromm

An aperitif with a delicious freshness and great aromatic finesse.

Nose:  Light aromas of berries, orange blossom, and grapefruit
Mouth:  Fresh, lively and fruity. Balanced structure. Slightly acidic.

This cheeky little French rose comes from Provence, the setting for English author Peter Mayle's famous and evocatively named book, A Year in Provence. And this is the type of refreshing rose which typifies summer wines made in this region. It's a blend of four grapes, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds structure and weight to the wine. It's dry and flavoursome. Drink lighty chilled.

It?s complex, full-bodied and surprisingly smooth with a delicate, long finish that?s unbelievably mellow. Drink straight up or on the rocks. 

NOSE:  Dried spice, pear, cocoa, vanilla & maple syrup.
PALATE:  Hints of ripe plum & cherries, robust, full body, mellow.

Deliciously dry French ros? made from Grenache and Carignan, which are blended together to make this dry, super tasty ros?. It comes from the hot, dry, and extremely sunny Mediterranean wine region of the Languedoc, which winds its way around the southern French coast. This large, sun drenched and languid wine region border Provence to the east and Roussillon to the west, on the Spanish border. 

This is pale pink with fruity aromas of strawberry, sour cherry and grenadine along with citrus aromas.

It begs to be enjoyed lightly chilled with salads, cheese and antipasto platters.
