Nose:  Intense and full blooded. Pot still richness: citrus oils, hot sealingwax, leather, tobacco, tea, maraschino, overripe fruits, marzipan.Exemplary.

Palate:  Ridiculously big. Oozes into the mouth and erupts. Spices galore to the finish. Oily and unctuous.

Finish:  Long, rich, oily.

Palate: Rich dried fruit and chewy toffee, quite a mouth-filling shock after the very delicate nose.

Finish: Fudgy.

The first ever single pot still Irish whiskey finished in Bordeaux casks! The choice of Bordeaux wine is also significant - Ch. L?oville Barton is not only a highly-regarded grand cru Ch?teau, but one that takes it's name from the Irish 'Wine Geese' winemaker Thomas Barton. In fact, L?oville Barton is still run by his descendants to this day. This bottling is a celebration of shared Irish heritage.

Matured initially in a mixture of ex-Oloroso Sherry, fresh American oak and ex-bourbon barrels, this Green Spot whiskey is then finished in the ex-Ch?teau L?oville Barton Bordeaux wine casks for 12 to 24 months.

Nose: Wild raspberry, pot pourri, crab apple, honey and gingerbread.

Palate: Toffee, green apple, lemon peel, vanilla, redcurrant and warming spice.

Finish: Long and quite dry with cereal and plenty more spiciness!

The Tyrconnell 16 Year Old is the highly anticipated limited release expression that builds on the legacy of the original incarnation of The Tyrconnell?. This is the result of sixteen years spent in bourbon barrels, and the first general release of an aged expression of this magnitude. The nose evokes citrus with underlying notes of oak, then the palate reveals a light and approachable taste with green fruits. The finale is subtly sweet with notes of oak and a smooth lingering finish.

Nose: The immediate nose in this unique Irish Whiskey is how thick the aroma is.; This pot still Irish whiskey hints at being much more mature than it's 8 years, you might say this whiskey is an "old soul" thanks to the lovely dustiness and the breath of sherry.; There are subtitle hints of the bourbon wood floating through the nose, but it's masked by the clear vapor of menthol and malt.

Taste: Full bodied, sweet and rich from start to finish.; This is soon blended with a favorable spice, yet all this is balanced keeping Green Spot whiskey soft on the tongue while still punching the taste buds with the hard evidence of the pure pot still malt. If this sounds schizophrenic, it's not, it's just a very complex and complete Irish Whiskey.
