97 Points, James Suckling
"Very floral with lavender, violets and dark fruits. Medium to full bodied with tannins that build on the palate. Very long and intense. Transparent fruit and evident terror."
94 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous
"The 2017 Barolo Conca is laced with the essence of dark cherry, menthol, licorice, lavender, cloves and leather. Ample and deep, yet also super-classic, the 2017 Conca is incredibly harmonious in the early going. Even in this warm, dry vintage, the Conca is one of the most transparent, classic Ratti Barolos I have tasted in some time."
93 Points, Monica Larner, RobertParker.com
"With fruit from La Morra where this historic winery is located, the Renato Ratti 2017 Barolo Conca is balanced and quite elegant, showing no overt signs of ripeness that could be expected of this hot and dry vintage. This bottle circumnavigates those hot-vintage pitfalls with graceful coordination. Wild cherry, crushed flowers, smoke, tart and crushed flint all emerge from the bouquet. The wine shows sweet fruit, but there is an equally measured point of salinity to balance it out. If anything, the mouthfeel in 2017 is a bit drier compared to past vintages."
93 Points, Kerin O'Keefe, Wine Enthusiast Magazine
"Blue flower, botanical herb and French oak aromas come to the forefront. The full-bodied, elegantly structured palate offers dried cherry, pomegranate, licorice and crushed mint framed in taut, close-grained tannins. A mineral note evoking saline lingers on the firm finish."

This wine is new in store and we have a precious six bottles only, so get in quick. Jean Baptiste Boudier is an up and coming maestro in Pernand Vergelesses in the Cotes de Beaune in Burgundy.
In 2014 as Jean-Baptiste worked together with his father at their family domaine in Pernand-Vergelesses it was clear they had very different approaches to winemaking and viticulture. It was clear to both father and son that the ambitious Jean-Baptiste needed to go his own way. By this time Jean-Baptiste had already worked stints at wine estates worldwide including Nicolas Rossignol in Burgundy, Vieux Télégraphe in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château Haut-Brion in Pessac-Léognan & Domaine Gauby in Rousillon.
Crozes-Hermitage is an appellation in France's northern Rhone Valley where Syrah rules the roost. In fact, Syrah is the only red grape allowed to grow here and in the entire northern Rhone, for that matter. Whites are rare and they're another story.
This big, dark, full bodied red has all the bells and whistles you want to find in high quality French Syrah, namely, ripe dark fruit flavours with aromas of white pepper and savoury spice. It's three years old and still youthful, but drinks well now, decanted. It will continue to age for up to a decade in a good cellar.

One of the greatest domaines in Chablis. Founded by William Fevre in 1957, its vineyard holdings include 12 hectares of premier cru and 16 hectares of grand Cru vines. The domaines fruit is harvested by hand, a rarity in Chablis, and rigorously sorted at the winery to ensure the highest quality. In recent times the amount of new oak used has been cut back and today the average age of the barrels in the cellar is five years. From the Petit Chablis to the domaines six Grand Cru wines, the quality is superb and the range from Domaine William Fevre is a benchmark for the wines of the region.
Domaine William Fevre has led the Chablis revival over the past decade with its refined, full bodied, dry white wines, all 100% Chardonnay, of course, as this appellation is devoted entirely and solely to this great white grape variety.
What the critics say
“Here too the nose is elegant, pure and layered but with more floral and spice nuances adding breadth to the cooler and more restrained aromas. There is both excellent intensity and density to the mineral-driven flavors that terminate in a bone-dry, sneaky long and balanced finale. This too is really very good.”

Charles? son Cyril joined his father in 2000 and is now responsible for the vines and winemaking. Located within the commune of Marsannay La Cote, the domaine stretches over almost 35 acres, and the diversity of soils and grapes makes it possible to produce a range of fourteen different wines.
