Extra hopped Pražačka Zlatá is a new beer from a special line of Pražačka brand. Golden-coloured lager has full character, accompanied by a distinct hop bitterness elegantly integrated into the malt base. McLeod's flagship beer and trophy winner for Best International Lager at the 2017 Brewers' Guild of New Zealand Awards, this is a proper Lager matured for a full six weeks before release. Expect a sparkling light-gold colour with ripe melon and stone fruit aromas. Crisp but layered with ?biscuity? malt, it finishes dry with balanced bitterness.

The first sip of this amber-orange-coloured Kellerbier reveals a touch of caramel. Its fresh and fruity aroma is owed to the chosen hops and accompanied by a pleasant bitterness. In combination with a well-balanced malt body this wonderfully mild and smooth beer was created to please both, your tongue and mind. The hops chosen are the rare sort “Hallertauer Record” for bittering and "Hallertauer Perle" as well as “Hallertauer Mittelfrüh” for aroma

Novelist and Hawera luminary Ronald Hugh Morrieson was a big wrestling fan. His idol was Lofty Blomfield, a lion of the ring whose sickest move was the Octopus Clamp. He and his mates used to drink a brew from the Hawera Brewery called “O.C.” which Ron promptly dubbed Octopus Clamp. We’re going the rest of the way and making it for real as a chocolatey Schwarzbier with stone fruit and caramel flavours.
