Unit price perAn entirely bourbon-matured bottle of Arran single malt! After its distillation on the eponymous island, Barrel Reserve is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon barrels, bottled at 43% ABV and presented in this rather handsome glass vessel (otherwise known as a bottle).
Nose: Fresh grass sweetness, lemon tart, biscuity malt and tart apple skin.
Palate: Malty, with Curiously Cinnamon cereal, vanilla fudge and green apple alongside a faint sea breeze.
Finish: Vanilla oak and lots of aromatic spice, with salted caramel and a handful of orchard fruit.
A 1996 vintage Ledaig single malt Scotch whisky from Tobermory, which has been given a finishing period in Oloroso Sherry casks. Interestingly, this expression has been made using some of the first peated whisky produced at Tobermory when they started distilling peated malt in 1996!
Peat-dried malted barley is married with naturally peat infused water from the distillery's private water source, a dark aromatic lochan, high in the mountains above the village of Tobermory. Matured in superior Oloroso sherry casks the result is a wonderfully peated single malt with an intense smoky flavorsome character.
The soft gold color of this Ledaig 1996 glistens before you. The nose is rich with fragant smoke, toffee caramel, apple with a hint of mint and a few citrus notes. A wave of crackling peat sets off rich flavor explosions on the palate, black pepper then bursts followed by a light sherry sweetness. The finish is smooth with a spicy salty tail, which disappears into the dark as the peaty embers glow into a smoky finale.

Unit price perThe Arran Malt finished in Sauternes casks. These casks that previously held Bordeaux sweet wine give a honeyed sweetness to the isle of Arran?s only single malt distillery.
Nose: Initially acacia honey but then opening up to apricots, bananas and pears. With time a floral elegance presents itself.
Palate: Sweet but cut with warm spice. Lemon zest announces itself with the addition of water and a slight saltiness plays with this dram's sweet character.
Finish: Seville orange, Sauternes and an ounce of honey in a crisp finish.
The 2022 Diageo Special & Rare collection is known as "Elusive Expressions", drawn from some of Scotland?s most interesting, legendary distilleries and curated by Master Blender Dr Craig Wilson. They portray the otherworldly beings which have fiercely protected the heartlands of remote Scottish distilleries for an eternity, according to our ancient fables. This year each bottle has its own unique QR code which, when scanned, takes you on a multi-sensory experience that tells you the story of the whisky and the mythical creature behind the artwork, whilst providing tasting notes to prompt your nose and palate along the way.
Talisker 11 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml (Special Release 2022) was matured in and blended from a mix of 1st-fill ex-bourbon casks, refill casks, and wine-seasoned casks.
The nose instantly transports you across to Skye, with the smell of bitumen on the road infusing into your nostrils, together with Talisker's signature iodine and medicinal notes. Briny maritime notes abound; there's sea spray in the air. The nose is complex, there are also hints of tobacco leaf and saddle leather. The palate is a bit softer, rounded, and grounded in the earthy peat. It possibly lacks for sweetness ? the wine casks have made it a bit drier and more savoury than the sweet and punchy 8yo Taliskers that featured in the 2020 and 2021 Special Releases.

Welcome to the second of our core range Single Malts to be released from LAGG Distillery, the LAGG Single Malt Corriecravie Edition.
The Corriecravie Edition is bottled in limited quantities once a year.
The spirit for the Corriecravie Edition is matured initially in Bourbon Barrels before being finished for approximately 6 months in Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads sourced directly from producer Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain.
For this edition, we have used Concerto malted barley and water from our own borehole. Our chosen yeast and fermentation time allows us to create the full-bodied flavour we are looking for in this distillation.
The taste profile is slightly richer than our Kilmory expression bringing to the fore notes of sweeter spices and rich fruits.
The Corriecravie Edition is bottled at 55% ABV, without chill filtration and with no added colour.
Nose
Dark chocolate and spiced red berries
Palate
Rich and mouth watering with subtle notes of charred embers and hazelnut
Finish
Charred Oak, Smoke, Hazelnut, Dark chocolate, Sweet Spice.
