THIS NZ IPA IS A BASSINET WOVEN FROM PILSNER, LAGER AND CRYSTAL MALTS THAT CRADLES THE BRIGHT, BOLD AND SPRIGHTLY FLAVOURS OF WAIMEA, NELSON SAUVIN, RIWAKA AND NECTARON.

ICE COLD LEMON AND LIME BITTERS, PINK GRAPEFRUIT, PASSIONFRUIT FRUIT MEDLEY WHIRL OF MEDICINAL DANKNESS AND FRESH CUT GRASS.

NEW RELEASE – NZIPA 2024 Winner Best Packaged Beer Smith’s NZIPA Challenge

After taking out 1st place in the Packaged Beer category and 3^rd place overall at Smith’s NZIPA Challenge we present this year’s entry NZIPA 2024 . We’ve taken inspiration from the nouveau Westy IPA styles of the US. A simple and light pilsner malt base layered with these three New Zealand hops Southern Cross, Wai-iti and Nectaron, we find flavours of pine, lemon citrus and stone fruits. An attempt to see where simplicity might intersect intrigue.

ABV: 6.5%

NEW RELEASE – Sunrise 07 Celebrating International Womens Day – Pink Boots Colab.

Sunrise Series, 07 Hazy Pale Ale Pink Boots Co-lab. Who runs the world!… Sunshine Brewery has paired up with Pink Boots for International Women’s Day. The 7th annual YCH hop blend includes Idaho 7, Ahtanum, El Dorado and HBC638 bringing hits of berry, tropical and stone fruit. Brewed by our two rising young brewers, Nona and Marion, we are sure this will be a banger.

Bright and sparkling, like some gold bullion, this COLD fermented IPA is golden with crisp brilliant bitterness, a little bit dank, and a citrusy hop profile that makes this new COLD IPA seriously drinkable. You have found a little golden treasure with this beer.

Brothers Beer ? Hazesteria Hazy Pale Ale 4.6% 

There was a buzz around town. ?All I know is they used Heidleburg and Lager for malt? said a source close to the Brothers Beer crew. Soon people started gathering around the brewery on Akiraho Street. ?I heard they are doing it keg only? said one young punk. ?Citra? said a bearded beer geek. ?Loads of Citra on the dry hop?

The crowd grew. ?My friend?s friend works with a guy that knows the brewer? said a girl wearing Docs ?and he says they used Mosiac AND Motueka in the boil!?

A chant began: ?Hazy! Hazy! Hazy! HAZY!?

As if answering their call a light came shining out of the brewery.

The crowd stood as one and raised their hands to it.

Holmdale Farm Fresh Hop Pale Ale, Special Release 5% 440ml can

A Pale Ale base beer that features undried fresh hops harvested from Holmdale Farm at Wakefield, Nelson. Our good friend Cam Elam and his family run this hop farm. Nelson Sauvin was selected this year as the feature hop and from cutting the bine to being in our brewhouse was less than 2 hours. Vibrant Sauvignon Blanc aroma and flavour with fresh, greasy buds, tropical and cut grass.

Moveable East Hazy IPA is a hoppy East-coast-style pale ale made with NZ hops. It?s mildly bitter with a biscuity malt base and tropical and citrusy hop aromas.

Plot Chickens West Coast IPA is a hoppy West-coast-style pale ale made with US hops including Columbus, Centennial, Citra and Simcoe for outrageously dank and piney hoppiness and aromas of melon & citrus.

Hazy IPA. Brewed with Nectaron and Motueka Hops. A cloudy mystery, as adventurous as a Kiwi summer.

A hybrid-style brew some also call Mountain IPA. This natural pale ale blends the unfiltered look with tropical fruits and a touch of bitterness. This session beer shows a touch of pine, with candied orange and burnt orange pith. Whatever it’s called, you can enjoy a few guilt free with the lower ABV.

At Sunshine summer never ends. Using Azacca hops, named after the Haitian god of agriculture, this juicy pale ale provides warm orange hues and tropical stone fruit aromas of peach and passionfruit. Laser is a lean and focused Aotearoa Pale Ale brewed in the old school West Coast tradition.

We took this beer back to basics with a 100% Vienna malt base delivering a clean, smooth and toasty malt character with a hint of caramel.

Generously dosed throughout the brewing process with classic NZ Cascade/Taiheke hops, Laser brings huge grapefruit, lime and turkish delight flavours with a fresh, lively edge. This is balanced by a firm but gentle bitterness.

The Laser is one of the most widely produced boats in the world. This Olympic class, single handed dinghy is light and nimble renowned for its simplicity and performance.
