Mansion House Bay wines are named after the first home of New Zealand?s first Governor General, Sir George Grey, who lived in a large mansion house on Kawau Island in the Hauraki Gulf from 1862 to 1888. It's an idyllic, utopian setting, even today with its peacocks still strutting across the palm fringed lawn, but it's a long way from the source of the grapes in these wines, which come from Marlborough.

This is a light, dry and fresh Pinot Gris with flavours of white fruit and a lingering finish. Good value.
