Liberty Brewing - Originally brewed for the West Coast IPA Challenge in 2013, the name of this beer wasn't always planned to be so grotesque.  You see...  I had penned the name pretty much every hop variety i could get from the USA thrown in.  However, whilst filling the kegs for this esteemed competition, a song came on Spotify and made the task so much more enjoyable that i decided to change the name.  But let's face it: Yakima Kitchen Sink was a bit of rubbish really!

Anyhow, regardless of the name the beer continued to take out the champion spot which was one of the proud moments in my life.  It's just a shame i wasn't there to enjoy the celebrations!

7.1% ABV.

It doesn't have to always be about hops. With the surging popularity of overtly hoppy beer, there's an extreme demand for the aromatic little flowers. The history of beer has never seen such overwhelming pressure on the international hop supply. With entire crops unavailable to the smaller brewery, these are the Darkest Days for the hard-core hop heads. But this isn't about hops. This is about a delicious oatmeal stout, darker and more ominous that your hopped up fears. Challenge your palate with this, decidedly, devilish drop. Enjoy full bodied bitter chocolate and espresso notes, with a rich texture, at cellar temperature with your friends and family.

Oatmeal Stout - 6% ABV

A big rich malt driven porter, aged in seasoned bourbon barrels. This was the people's choice at Beervana 2019, buy a bottle and you'll discover why. 

12.6% ABV.

Liberty Brewing Co. - Halo Pilsner is quite positively a monument of New Zealand Pilsner proudly brewed with glorious Gladfield malts and a free rein of Nelson hops.

You can expect a good lashing of zesty lime citrus peel accented with tropical passion fruit, all shining proudly above rye-cracker malt drizzled with subtle sweet caramel.

5.4% ABV.

Liberty's West Coast IPA Challenge entry for 2018. Juicy and fruity. Unfiltered. 

6.6% ABV.

This crushing double IPA, named for the legendary hop that predominates it, is one of New Zealand craft brewing's original palate benders, famous for squeezing every last drop of flavour and aroma from its American namesake. Strong notes of citrus shouldn't surprise anyone who reads the label.

9% ABV

Liberty Brewing Co. - Easy drinking designed to be quaffed.  Look at that golden colour & crisp white head glistening in the sun.  Now touch it to the tongue for some of the latest US hops.

5.1% ABV.

Introducing the newest in the Liberty Family. Liberty Brewing 'Sachet' Orange Sour geared for your summer sessions so you can have a couple in the sun and still be responsible!

Now why would we call it a Sachet Sour, seems weird right. Well, the secret ingredient in this beer comes in a sachet, and may remind you of your childhood, dipping your sticky little fingers into the orange tasting crystals instead of pouring them into the water as they were intended.

Two Liberty fan faves in one; easy-drinking Oh Bro, and Jungle Juice ? the untamed, palate-pounding Hazy. With the best bits of each brew carefully blended and balanced by our hop savant, Juice Bro?s soft mats highlight the citrusy pomelo and orange stylings of Mosaic and Amarillo cones.

5.0% ABV

God of War was brewed by Kratos himself, declaring war on your palate. He plundered with his viking hoard Alchemists across the Atlantic vast troves of Cryogenically refined humulus lupulus. Colossal quantities were added to his concoction which was then gifted to his fellow deities and it was decreed henceforth to be the Supreme Winner of the 2024

ABV 6.9%

For fresh hop devotees, the annual annihilation is all wrath and tears. But before the entirety of the verdant cones are desiccated, bludgeoned and sealed into darkness, Liberty heroically preserve a precious few. So give thanks to whatever gods may be and enjoy the unconquerable soul herein.

Nelson Sauvin and Nectaron hops fresh off the bine are lush, herbaceous and vibrant, imparting sprightly notes of pineapple, guava, passionfruit and kiwifruit

5.2% ABV

It sounds Japanese but it's as American as having a BMI of 32. The Yakima Valley in Washington state, situated in the top left corner of the lower 48, is home to some of our favourite hop varieties, the tiny green flavour bombs that powered the whole craft beer renaissance from the get go. Liberty is what it smells like.
