Kereru Brews

Amberine NZ Whisky Barrel-Aged Belgian Quadruple was aged for 14 months in NZ Whisky Co casks. This nut brown Belgian ale has ruby highlights and an off-white head. Toffee, single malt, and a savoury red wine component greet the nose and it offers vinous and complicated deep sugar notes, Belgian yeast character, single malt whisky and light oakiness, with a lingering red-wine finish.

These beers will age gracefully for many years, but are fabulous right now. Do not serve cold! Treat it like you would a port or red wine and serve it in an elegant glass. Enjoy it in your bubble for any reason to celebrate.

12% ABV.

Paloma New Zealand Barrel-Aged Barleywine is a rich, smooth, nutty, strong ale that has been aged for ten months in French oak wine barrels that previously held New Zealand Whisky Co's Double-Wood Whisky for many years. Like all our beers, it is made with New Zealand-grown malt and hops.

14.3% ABV.

Oat Kuiture is Kereru?s version of a Dutch Kuit beer, but hopped with freshly harvested NZ Waimea hops. Our kuit is unfiltered, copper in colour, and the fresh hops offer notes of pine and citrus ? for a delicious dance in your mouth.

Charm Quark is an unfiltered extra pale ale made with Idaho7 and Zythos hops. Softy biscuit malts and citrusy and floral hops round out this exceptional beer. It is refreshing and very drinkable!

5.3% ABV.

Danky Doodle is a hoppy West-coast-style pale ale made with US hops (including Cascade, Columbus, Chinook, and Centennial) for outrageously dank and piny hoppiness with aromas of stone fruit and citrus.

UnFROGettable is a Saison beer made with a French strain of NZ yeast and NZ Pacific Jade hops to create a fabulous combination of spicy fruit flavours and aromas of citrus, black pepper and berries.

Plaid 2 The Cone is a thoroughly good India Pale Ale made with US hops, with a nose like a big bouquet of citrus & melon, a dry lingering flintiness, assertively bitter hoppiness, and subtle sweetness.

GenX Sais Quoi is an unfiltered India pale ale made with NZ & USA hops with flavours of pineapple and pine, delicious, and nicely bitter.

A delightful mix of Kereru's best gluten free offerings. Currently includes 3x Auro, 2x Apex, and 1x Aviatrix.

The 2024 release of 9 Inch Snails is a hazy India pale ale made with all NZ hops including Pacifica, Moutere, and Wai-iti hops for big juicy, fruity and resinous hop flavours.

Moveable East Hazy IPA is a hoppy East-coast-style pale ale made with NZ hops. It?s mildly bitter with a biscuity malt base and tropical and citrusy hop aromas.

Big Pigeon Pilsner is a bright, tasty NZ pilsner with bold Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hop flavours, balanced just right with malt sweetness and a bright, clean finish.
