This peaty single malt matures in traditional oak barrels and is bottled at cask strength without cold filtration and is naturally coloured.

Distilled from Scottish peated barley with peat levels around 23 ppm.

This award winning blended Japanese whisky bottled by Suntory was created to celebrate the company's 60th birthday anniversary. It includes whiskies from Hibiki, Yamazaki, and Hakashu. It was bottled at 43% abv and is presented in a gift box.

• Nose: Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, melted butter, herbal and slightly oaky.
• Palate: Orchard fruits of apple and pear, ripe banana, sliced red capsicums, toasted almonds.
• Finish: Light spice and mizunara oak.

Part of Nikka?s highly popular Black range, this blend is one of the most popular daily drinkers in Japan. The Nikka Black Clear brings together vintages from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries for a light, drinkable expression. Suitable for highballs or to drink neat. In 1918, a young Japanese man with an ambition to make genuine whisky went alone to Scotland to unveil the secret of whisky making. He is Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whisky. 

Togouchi 9 Year Old Blended Japanese Whisky comes from the town of Togouchi and produced by Chugoku Jozo in underground tunnels. The Japanese brewery, Chugoku Jozo, is located near Hiroshima. They have been producing sake, liqueurs, and the traditional Japanese spirit shochu since 1918.

This whisky is rather intense and pleasant on the nose with dispersing aromas of yellow fruits. The palate has sweet spices, with the appearance of fruity flavors of citrus. In the end, peat and smoke come nicely together.

40% ABV

A single cask whisky from the White Oak distillery based in Hyogo Japan. Uncoloured and non-chill filtered, the warm colour belies real sherry sweetness with beautiful complexing earthy notes and hints of black tea. The finish is long with further spice, chocolate and a hint of marmalade.

Kaiyo is a negotiant bottler started by a drinks group led by former Asahi employee Mr. Watanabe who was able to purchase "teaspooned" malt whisky barrels from an unnamed Japanese whisky supplier via his connections in the industry ("teaspooning" is when a distiller adds a teaspoon of another whisky into the barrel before selling it, thus preventing the purchaser from claiming it as a single malt from that distillery). The whiskies are purchased as teaspooned new make (unaged distillates) and then put into Japanese Mizunara oak barrels from Ariake, considered one of the best manufacturers in the world.

A fruity, zesty and softly-smoky Japanese whisky, matured in mizunara oak casks. Aromas of orange peel, jasmine, soft cedar and coastal air fill the nose. The palate offers notes of earthy coffee, green apples, black tea and fresh herbs, with hints of cinnamon pastries and mango that linger in the finish.

Time tested tradition, spiced with a dash of innovation, this is the process we followed in making AMRUT INTERMEDIATE SHERRY CASK SINGLE MALT. Newly made spirit, matured in the traditional way in virgin / ex-bourbon casks and is transferred into Spanish ex-oloroso sherry butts wherein it matures for a year more, gaining an added sherry finish. The finishing touch is thus lent by a further period of maturation in ex-bourbon casks. Result: an essay in elegance with subdued sherry notes that bears the tell-tale Amrut Signature of quality and innovation. A worthy successor to the much-acclaimed Amrut Fusion and Amrut Double Cask.

Nose : Instead of the usual biscuit aroma, we now get moist cake. And my word: is it fruity and spicy!! Love the freshly waxed oak floor, too. Brain-explodingly complex and multi-layered with one of the most intriguing sherry-style-bourbon-style marriages on the market;

Taste : Cracking delivery and entirely unique in form. The structure is decidedly oak-based, but acts as no more than a skeleton from which the juicy sultana and spices drape. Salivating, too, as the barley kicks in powerfully. But the liquorice-orangey-honeycomb bourbon theme quietly shapes the flavour profile; the spices pulse and glow;

Finish : Quite a chunk of natural caramel quietens the more exuberant characteristics; long and elegant.

White Oak Akashi Blended Whisky is unique and different, it is a blend of malt whisky from the White Oak Distillery and imported malt whisky and spirit (from molasses).

40% ABV

Although blended in Japan, Togouchui Premium Whisky is a blend of Scottish malt and Canadian grain. Aged in the town of Togouchi in a tunnel that was originally built for a railway but never used.

Barrel ageing has infused Sanin with a faint vanilla aroma and fruity notes of pear on the finish. The fresh, underground water of Mount Daisen delivers a smooth, mellow taste in this light and refreshing whisky.
