One of our best selling bubblies and for great reason' this is a stunner with creamy smooth flavours and gorgeous zesty bubbles. This sparkling wine is made 100% from Chardonnay grapes grown in Hawke's Bay, which were trucked down to the northern Wairarapa winery, Matahiwi Estate, where winemaker Miles Dineen worked his magic to produce this dreamy creamy bubbly. 

This wine is made in the mould of a blanc de blancs (white of whites) champagne, using Chardonnay grapes from the Dartmoor Valley in Hawke's Bay. The wine gains its richness from lees ageing, which enhances  creaminess and yeasty aromatics. It's a deliciously lemon citrusy wine with depth, complexity and character - outstanding value at the  price.

Tony Bish's Golden Egg Chardonnay is one of the best in the country and  is fermented in an egg shaped concrete fermentation vat, which is designed to maximise the fullness and creamy style of Chardonnay at its smoothest, while retaining vibrant acidity. This is a stellar wine. One of the best from the Bay and from the country. Outstanding. 

Juicy smooth blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec in a bold and powerful red made by Hawke's Bay winemaker Jenny Dobson, whose extensive winemaking experience in Bordeaux and Hawke's Bay shines through in this fleshy flavoursome wine. 

Doris was named after her grandmother, Doris and this is the first vintage of this medium bodied, dry and fleshy wine, which has flavours of red plum, red fruit and lightly toasted spice.

All of the grapes in this wine were hand picked, whole bunch pressed and fermented to bone dry (one gram of residual sugar). It was made from 26 year old Clone 6 Chardonnay vines grown at Bridge Pa in Hawke’s Bay and disgorged at Soljans in West Auckland, which has all the gear for making high end sparkling wine.

Powerful, full bodied, smooth and balanced by beautiful crisp citrus and white peach flavours. This is one of Hawke's Bay's great Chardonnays from Tony Bish, who has carved a niche for himself as king of Chardonnay in the Bay, where he devotes his winemaking talents entirely to Chardonnay. 

This wine is made from dry grown Mendoza Chardonnay grapes grown on Skeetfield Vineyard. All grapes in this wine were hand harvested and whole bunch pressed with minimal settling followed by 100% barrel, 100% indigenous yeast fermentation and matured for 12 months in Taransaud French oak. Lees stirring accentuates body, freshness and depth of flavour in this lovely wine.

Pask Declaration Chardonnay is a rich and complex wine of depth, structure and elegance. The palate offers typical stone-fruit and ripe fruit characters; lees aged complexity and new oak notes. This is a beautiful Chardonnay with excellent aging ability.

Alpha Domus winery was founded in 1989 and its name is an anagram of the owners' names, Anthonius, Leonard, Paulus and Henrikus. Domus is Latin for home. 

They named this soft, chocolatey and plush Merlot after the classic 1932 Fox Moth aircraft, which helped open the world up to travel and adventure. This dry, smooth and full bodied red also opens up new worlds of flavour and shows why Merlot is the most planted red grape in Hawke's Bay - it works a treat there. 

Dry, flinty, full bodied and creamy with flavoursome ripe apple and honey notes. This Hawke's Bay Chenin Blanc is sure to please both Chardonnay lovers and those who like crisp dry whites without all the bells and whistles too; it successfully straddles a diverse array of wine style thanks to clever winemaking from Rod Easthope, sources grapes from the Two Terraces Vineyard, inland in the Bay and owned by Chenin devotee Ian Quin..

Chenin BLanc is one of the least planted but most promising white grapes in New Zealand and is also one of the world's most versatile, thanks to the wide range of wines that can be made from it - from light to full bodied, still to sparkling and dry to lusciously sweet.

This Chenin Blanc comes from Hawke's Bay winemaker Rod Easthope, who used old barrels to ferment this Chenin, which adds body, weight and savouryness. It drinks well now and can definitely age further too, thanks to the grape's naturally high acidity, which acts as a preservative.

Stone Paddock Chardonnay is a lightly oaked wine. Showing ripe tropical fruit and peach aromas with fine grapefruit and mineral undertones. The gentle influence of oak accentuates the sweet stonefruit, melon and grapefruit flavours. The texture is creamy and luscious with a fine minerality on the finish. 

Exceptional fruit purity, concentration and complexity are the hallmarks of this wine. The result is a concentrated, rich Chardonnay with good length, weight and texture showing nutty and citrus characters.

Plush, smooth and full of ripe red plum flavours, this wine is made with grapes grown a vineyard formed on the ancient riverbed of a river that once carried rock from the steep Ruahine ranges and deposited masses of free-draining gravel which is locally known as red metal. This is a plush wine from a very good vintage and punches well above its weight. Juicy ripe berry flavours from the Merlot are balanced by grunty darker earthy elements from the Franc.

Grapes grown at Te Awanga, south of Napier, give this impressive Syrah its bold and powerful with aromas of ripe blueberries, licorice and black pepper. It?s a velvety, smooth, silky and full bodied Syrah now and will age superbly for up to 10 years, potentially even longer.

About Clearview Estate

Clearview Estate is one of oldest, most well established wineries in Hawke's Bay and is situated on the Te Awanga Coast, south of Napier. It's a great place to visit for tastings at the cellar door as well as lunch in the dappled shade of the established courtyard area. The winery was founded by Tim Turvey, winemaker and co-owner. The current winemaker is the multi talented Matt Kirby.

Full bodied, creamy and toasty with flavours of oatmeal, spice and fresh macadamias. This big white has all the bells and whistles and is made with grapes grown on the coast at Bay View north of Napier. All grapes were hand picked, fermented with wild yeasts in French oak, which softens the edgy acidity, adding notes of spice, cedar and hints of oak, all of which provide weight, making this wine super rich and flavoursome. It suits roast chicken or spaghetti carbonara; vegetarian or with a little meat but either way, served with a squeeze of fresh lemon, olive oil, pepper and parmesan.

Sauvignon Blanc with a powerful new twist - full bodied, textural dry white blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Sauvignon Gris (a varietal in its own right rather than a blend, despite the name). This wine is bone dry and refreshing with high but beautifully balanced acidity. Flavours of ripe gooseberry, lime and sea salt, dill, coriander, beeswax  and subtle woodsmoke notes all combine in this beautiful barrel fermented white. 

This is one of New Zealand's iconic dry, full bodied, top quality Sauvignon Blancs with its lush fruity style and bold flavours.
