Wildflower ale, spontaneous fermented using only the wild yeast from freshly foraged m?nuka flowers, aged in oak barrels and then blended with a batch of fresh beer ?hopped? with m?nuka tips. The result is a deliciously drinkable dark ale, with a delicately tart citrus, floral, honey flavour and a light, spicy m?nuka twist. Go wild. Brewed for the Hokitika Wild Foods festival.
Infused with a massive shot of concentrated Newground espresso and burnt Seville orange peel, then blended with four year old bourbon barrel aged beer. A rich, complex, bittersweet blend of bourbon vanilla oak, roasted malts, caramelised citrus peel and coffee. All hail the beast.
